Anne Arundel Patch: What was the winning word you spelled correctly during your school's spelling bee?
Esther Lim: Expeditiously

Anne Arundel Patch: What do you like about your school?
Esther: Language Arts and Chorus—In LA we are learning about poetry. I learned about figurative language, form, rhythm, repetition and rhyme. We are learning about France and it's culture in World Language.

Anne Arundel Patch: Do you participate in extracurricular activities or sports?
Esther: Yes, Chorus and Strings

Anne Arundel Patch: What do you want to do when you grow up?
Esther: Be a child care worker or work at an elderly home

Anne Arundel Patch: What do you like to do for fun?
Esther: Read or play games

Esther is one of 32 students set to compete in the 25th annual Anne Arundel County Spelling Bee on Feb. 23. Patch congratulates all of the students on making it to the county competition!
