1. The weather
According to The Weather Channel, temperatures in the Pasadena-area should hover between the mid-to-upper 80s in the beginning of the week, and then edge into the low 90s on Thursday and Friday.
2. Biggest story from the weekend
Charges are still pending in the averted mass-shooting threat involving a Crofton man. An update on the PGPD News Blog stated that Prescott was admitted to Anne Arundel Medical Center in Annapolis after a "doctor evaluation" and that he could be there for one week.
Prescott was not arrested and has not been charged. According to the PGPD News Blog, "state and possibly federal charges are under review."
3. Olympic schedule
In honor of the Olympics here is a special Olympic section, which gives you the rundown on the events that are taking place Monday.

Ryan Lochte races in the in the 200M freestyle and Michael Phelps races in the 200M butterfly, but they are not expected to be aired live. Also, U.S. women's beach volleyball plays on Monday, but will not be shown until prime time Monday on NBC.
