Anonymous Donor Sponsors Animal Control Adoption Event

Thanks to an anonymous donor, all standard adoption fees at Anne Arundel County Animal Control will be paid for by a benefactor March 12-16, which makes pet adoptions free for approved adopters.
According to a news release, it is the goal of the donor and the shelter to increase awareness about the thousands of adoptable animals searching for homes.
Potential adopters will still need to pass the screening process at Anne Arundel County Animal Control. Anyone planning to adopt should bring with them a leash and collar for dogs or a carrier for cats.
Anne Arundel County Animal Control is located at 411 Maxwell Frye Rd. in Millersville. Adoption hours are as follows:
- 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday
- 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Wednesday
- 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Saturday

Yes true! Once I gave 2 kittens to a young couple...
to only get a phone message 1 month later they had to move and could not take the cats with them... then the message ended and I did not have communication with them after that... I still wander what happened to the sweet kittens!
