Bathroom Camera Discovered at Anne Arundel School
Police say an officer installed a camera in a men's bathroom at Glen Burnie High School without the knowledge of the school or police department.
Anne Arundel County Police have placed a 14-year veteran of the Special Services Bureau on leave pending an investigation after a student discovered a camera inside a men's bathroom at Glen Burnie High School on Wednesday morning.
Police said they are opening a criminal investigation into the camera's installation, which the officer reportedly did "on his own volition" without the knowledge of the school system or police department.
No recorded images or video have yet been discovered, police said.

To be fair, they made no mention of sex. Lets not assume he is a sex predator... not that I condone this but he might have just been trying to catch illegal activity that goes on the the bathrooms. It is gbhs afterall

Seriously ??? There is NO justification for this, Period !
Do you think it would have been okay if the camera had been in the Women's Bathroom ? No Way ! Or, is there a different standard for Gay Cops who violate privacy ?
The police will probably excuse it away as " Bad Judgment " and give him a slap on the hand, but let's hope not.

@Don - I agree with you that this officer had no justification of which we are aware but why are you jumping to the conclusion that the officer is gay? Is it because that is the only reason a hidden camera would be placed in the Men's bathroom of a local high school? I certainly hope the police do not excuse it away and they keep us informed of the outcome of the investigation.
