Have rising parking rates have kept you from visiting downtown Annapolis?

Then Friday afternoon is your chance to shop and dine while Patch pays for the parking.

Annapolis Patch has paid the city for all the parking meters on Main Street from City Dock to Church Circle starting at 4:30 p.m. on Friday until the meters turn off at 8:30 p.m.

We've also partnered with Mainstreets Annapolis Partnership (MAP) for this event and a number of area businesses, including:

• Alpaca International
• Seasons Olive Oil & Vinegar Taproom
• Rams Head Tavern
