Galilee Church Hosts Dinner Fundraiser for ‘Famine Effort’

The dinner is part of the 30 Hours of Famine to Fight World Hunger effort.

Young cooks at Galilee Lutheran Church will serve dinner Saturday at 5:30 p.m. as part of the 30 Hours of Famine to Fight World Hunger effort.

Young chefs Mike, Matt and Mitchell Santos are graduates of Cooking 101, a program at the church that combines teaching basic kitchen skills with Bible study and fellowship. They will serve the dinner.

The menu will include potato skin appetizers, pasta salad, twice-baked potatoes, Swedish meatballs and lava cakes. Freewill donations toward the 30 Hours of Famine fundraising for World Vision are appreciated.

The event is open to the public. For more information, contact the church office at 410-255-8236.
