Holiday Fun Around Pasadena

If you've got some spare time during the busy holiday season, try these events!

 

Free time is hard to come by during the holiday season, but if you can spare an hour or two, these events might make for a fun time!

First Friday Shopping

Pasadena United Methodist Church, Dec. 2 at 5 p.m.

This is a free shopping event hosted by Pasadena United Methodist Church. A variety of vendors will be present, offering products from Avon, Simply Tasteful and a variety of other brands.

Jenkins Memorial Church Cookie Walk & Bazaar

Jenkins Memorial Church, Dec. 3 at 8 a.m.

This annual fundraiser is held by Jenkins Memorial Church Ladies' Aid. Cookies, crafts and food will be available for purchase.

The Anne Arundel County Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony

103 Crain Hwy N, Glen Burnie, Dec. 6 at 6 p.m.

You can welcome in the holiday season at this tree lighting ceremony at Glen Burnie Town Center! Free parking will be available.

Big Vanilla Holiday Bazaar and Open House

Big Vanilla Athletic Club, Dec. 7 at 10 a.m.

This holiday celebration takes place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Stop by to enter contests, shop with vendors and try free aquatics classes!

Pasadena's Tree Lighting Ceremony

Brumwell's Flea Market, Dec. 7 at 7 p.m.

There's hardly any reason for a description of this one-everyone knows about the annual tree lighting in Pasadena! Drop by to celebrate Christmas with the community.

Train Garden at Marley Station Mall

7900 Ritchie Hwy, Glen Burnie, Dec. 8 at 10 a.m.

Marley Station's not too far. Drop by and check out the train garden!

Breakfast with Santa

Community United, Dec. 10 at 8 a.m.

Santa's dropping by Community United! Go say hello and also check out the Secret Santa Shop for children.

Christmas Concert at St. Andrew's

St Andrew's Episcopal Church, Dec. 11 at 8 p.m.

Music from An'IR and a Christmas art exhibit will be on hand at St. Andrew's.

Christmas Caroling

Jenkins Memorial Church, Dec. 16 at 6 p.m.

Who doesn't love caroling? Drop by and lend a voice!

Hack & Slash Christmas Special, in Color!

194 Hammonds Lane, Brooklyn Park, Dec. 16 at 8 p.m.

Hack and Slash are a hilarious comedy duo known for their appearances at the Maryland Renaissance Festival. Check out their Christmas special-it's bound to be a riot!
