Missing Pasadena Man Found Dead

The body of Thomas Herron was found in Pasadena on Saturday afternoon.

The body of Thomas Herron, 46, of Pasadena was found near Fairview Beach Park on Saturday afternoon, according to Anne Arundel County police spokesman Lt. J.D. Batten.

Batten said Herron died of an apparent gunshot wound. He said no foul play was suspected.

Herron had been missing since he left his home on Nov. 5. Family members told police Herron often walks in the neighborhood with his dogs; however, the dogs were left behind. They also told police Herron may possess a firearm, according to a press release.

Batten said police responded to Fairview Beach Park at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday after a report that a male body was found. Police had been looking for Herron for several days.

Herron's body was sent to the medical examiner's office.

So sorry that this man was so troubled and depressed that he felt the need to kill himself to get away from the pain he was in. My condolences to his family. My prayers go out to them.

Tom was a great person. My husband used to work with him and liked him a lot. Prayers to his family.
