The Northeast Athletic Boosters will host their second annual Spring Festival on May 5 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The Spring Festival, hosted by teams and clubs at Northeast, presents a carnival-like atmosphere complete with many games and prizes. There will also be local craft vendors and artisans, as well as food and concessions provided by local businesses. All funds raised will be used to support the Northeast athletic teams.
Last year’s festival was held as a final farewell to the school's old football stadium, which was demolished to start construction for a new field. Close to 1,000 guests attended the 2011 carnival.
Due to the construction of the new field, this year’s fair is being held at Sunset Elementary School.
The festival will also feature a special guest appearance from Ravens mascot Poe, as well as live birds Conquor and Rise, courtesy of Design Plus Drafting Systems Inc.
Admission to the Spring Festival is free and the event provides an opportunity for friends and family of the Northeast community to get together.

In the event of rain on May 5, the festival will be held May 6.
