Siblings Marissa (grade 6) and Matthew (grade 7) Heuer have been playing cards and Monopoly.
Lindsey Petersen (grade 6,) Sam Brown (grade 8,) and Carleigh Petersen (grade 8) busy themselves by playing a game of cards.
Aiden (8) and Kylie (5) Alcaraz have been weathering the storm by playing Mario Party on their Wii.
Alyssa (6) and Alex (4) McGuigan spent the afternoon playing outside in the rain with their friends Brody (4) and Sydney (7) Reeves.
Chase Vanderhoff (15 months) drifted off to sleep to the sounds of the rain. "We didn't even need a noise machine tonight," said Chase's mom, Sarah Vanderhoff.

Board games, coloring books, DVDs, craft projects - Pasadena parents are hard at work keeping their children busy while they're stuck inside hiding from the impending hurricane.
