Police Investigate Fatal Pasadena Shooting
Police said the shooting occurred early Saturday morning in the 7000 block of Outing Avenue after a party.

One person died and another was injured during a shooting outside of a home in Pasadena early Saturday morning, according to an Anne Arundel County Police press release.
Police responded to a shooting in the 7000 block of Outing Avenue at 1:30 a.m. on Saturday, the release stated.
Upon arrival officers found two victims suffering from gunshot wounds. Officers immediately began first aid, including CPR, until Anne Arundel County Fire Department personnel arrived and took over treatment of the victims.
The victims were transported to area hospitals where police said Matthew Morrow, 21, died from injuries sustained in the shooting a short time later. The second 20-year-old victim, whose name has not been released, was treated for non life-threatening injuries.
Preliminary information indicates that the victims were standing outside a house party in the 7000 block of Outing Avenue, when they were gunned down by a suspect (or suspects) in a dark colored vehicle.
There are no further descriptions of the suspect(s) or the vehicle at this time.
Detectives do not believe the shooting was a random act. The investigation is active and ongoing.

Very troubling. I just hope that anyone who saw anything fully cooperates with AACPD. Need to put these scumbags away.

I'm not a police supporter at all. But these guys were doing CPR and rescue breathing in the middle of the street with no masks. While they were doing this they were fighting off the crowd with their "free" hands and feet. Firefighters and medics did the same when the crowd tried to force it's way into the ambulances. The outcome is awful but we are a reactive agency.
The scene was very unsafe and not secured by the minimal number of police. I'm sure as many responded as possible. 70-100 people were in the street mostly intoxicated. Public safety officials did a tremendous job given the circumstances. I saw no county council officials on scene lending a hand.

I don't know who the ones doing CPR were but they were more concerned about the victim than themselves. Wish all of them were like those two.
