Police Searching for Suspects in Mountain Road Robbery
A woman was robbed in the parking lot of a shopping center on Mountain Road Tuesday night.
Police are looking for suspects who they say robbed a 65-year-old woman in the parking lot of a Mountain Road shopping center Tuesday night.
According to a press release, officers responded to the 2500 block of Mountain Road for a report of a robbery. Upon arrival they spoke with a 65-year-old woman who said she was walking to her car in the parking lot when a male suspect approached her. The victim said the suspect was possibly armed with a weapon.
The woman refused to comply with the suspect’s demands and he then forcibly grabbed the victim’s purse from her arm and fled towards East Shore Road in a small silver vehicle that was occupied by other people, according to the release.
Numerous officers searched the area for the suspects and their vehicle, but were unable to find them, according to police.
The victim sustained minor injuries and was treated at Baltimore Washington Medical center and released.
The investigation is ongoing.

That area is right by the Royal Farms. Seems like the most likely spot. Hope they catch these creeps.
