Police: Teen Holds Alleged Ex-Girlfriend at Gunpoint

Police used a Taser on the man they said held a woman at gunpoint inside her Pasadena home.

Police used a Taser to subdue a Glen Burnie teen who they said held a Pasadena woman at gunpoint Friday night, according to an Anne Arundel County police press release.

Police arrested Timothy Allen Gray, 19 of the 200 block of Poplar Avenue in Glen Burnie. He was charged with first-degree assault, burglary, reckless endangerment and numerous weapon offenses.

According to the release, at 10 p.m. on Friday, police responded to a report of a suspect armed with a handgun inside a home in the 200 block of Maryland Avenue in Pasadena. The caller also indicated that a woman was being held at gunpoint.

Responding officers made their way into the residence and located Gray at the threshold of the bedroom. Police said they could hear a woman screaming inside the room.

According to the release, officers could only see one of Gray’s hands, as the other hand was in the bedroom. After Gray reportedly refused to show his hands, an officer deployed a Taser to subdue him.

Gray was taken into custody and officers recovered the handgun used in the incident.
