Pasadena Patch: What is something you learned this year?
John Blandamer:
I learned about the Civil War and all of the battles and some of the famous people. I also learned about the Revolutionary War, Reconstruction and the Korean War. Then we talked about the Great Depression and World War I.

Pasadena Patch: What was your favorite part of this school year?
John:
I liked Grandparents Day because I got to see my grandparents and they got to learn what I was doing in school.

Pasadena Patch: What are you most looking forward to next year?
John:
Going to Harpers Ferry on a field trip and getting to do white water rafting. I have done it before, but I have never gotten to do it with my whole class.

Pasadena Patch: What are you going to do over your summer vacation?
John:
I am going to go swimming a lot because I think that is fun. I am also doing a few camps. I am going to golf camp for the first time. I am also going to soccer camp.

Pasadena Patch: What are you going to miss most about school during the summer?
John:
My friends and when we play soccer at recess.
