I find it hard to believe that you did not include the equine or shooting sports in your poll. Let me start. Equine: Dover Saddlery in Crofton. Shooting: On Target Gun Store and Shooting Range in Severn.

Those two weren't listed in our directories but we've added them to the bottom of the poll. Thanks for letting us know!

This is a very unreasonable poll. If you want a generic sporting goods answer, only list generic sporting goods stores. When I was a bowler, I used Wayne Stepp's pro shop to get my equipment. However, I would not think of going there to buy a tennis racquet. Similarly, I might go to Duke's for golf equipment, but not to buy a lacrosse stick. I doubt the Ski Warehouse is going to be a good place to get camping gear either.

Excellent points, Steve. We will definitely take them into consideration when selecting topics for future Readers' Choice contests. Thanks for your feedback.

I wouldn't put a wake, skate, surf, ski shop in a sporting goods catagory either. How about Sports Specialty or Extreme sports?? Ski Haus Sports is in a catagory of it's own. Owen's could be put into that same catagory with Ski Haus.
