'Shred-A-Rama' Returns to Anne Arundel County

Any county resident can have as many as four boxes of personal documents shredded at no cost during the event in May.

Do you have a bunch of old documents you'd like to get shredded?

County residents can have as many as four boxes of paper destroyed at no cost during the annual "Shred-A-Rama" event in May.

The event, now in its seventh year, will take place at four locations in Anne Arundel County and is sponsored by the local Police-Community Relations Council.

The shredding will take place on May 18 from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. at the following locations:

  • Arundel High School
  • Brooklyn Park Middle School
  • Anne Arundel County Police Headquarters (8495 Veterans Highway)
  • South River High School

There is no cost for the shredding, but donations are appreciated.

To ensure proper shredding, avoid bringing any items in metal binders or clips. CDs, X-Rays and film will not be accepted.
