Son Faces Charges in Father's Homicide
Police say Darius Keenan Jr., who lived with his father in Pasadena, is currently incarcerated in North Carolina and faces multiple charges in connection with his father's death.
Darius Keenan Sr. was found dead in his Pasadena home on Aug. 12 and police announced Wednesday they are charging his son with first-degree murder.
Patch previously reported that Darius Keenan Sr. died at his home in the 400 block of Harlem Avenue and police said that they were questioning a family member regarding the incident that was later ruled a homicide.
According to a press release from Anne Arundel County police, a warrant was issued charging Darius Keenan Jr. with first-degree murder, second-degree murder, first-degree assault, second-degree assault, reckless endangerment and credit card theft.
Police said that Darius Keenan Jr., who lived with his father in Pasadena, is currently incarcerated in Mecklenburg County, NC, after allegedly stealing his father's vehicle. The Anne Arundel County State’s Attorney’s Office is seeking extradition.
