Teen Hurt in Watercraft Incident
Fire officials say a 19-year-old girl suffered serious injuries in a watercraft incident.
A 19-year-old girl suffered serious injuries involving a personal watercraft in Riviera Beach Sunday night, according to an Anne Arundel County Fire spokesman.
Lt. Cliff Kooser said fire units responded to the area of Bay Drive and Harlem Road around 9 p.m. Sunday night for the report of an accident involving a personal watercraft.
Upon arrival they found a 19-year-old girl who was semi-conscious along the shoreline. Kooser said the teen suffered serious, but not life-threatening injuries.
Calls to Department of Natural Resources police were not returned. No more information on the teen’s condition is available at this time.
