This week's Viewfinder takes beauty and fun-seekers to Hancock's Resolution Historic Farm Park, the Pasadena Senior Activity Center, Gayfields Farm and a simple garden.

Going to Hancock's Resolution is always a treat for me. Someone pointed out how quiet it is there, and I agree. It is far away from the highway sounds I hear nearly constantly where I live, and the plants, flowers and now butterflies delight me.

Alton B. White of Pasadena was kind to allow me to photograph him in the Pasadena Senior Activity Center during their Father's Day breakfast. Happy late Father's Day to you and thank you.

Seeing the horses at Gayfields Farm always makes me smile. I can't help but think of my home state, Kentucky.

Hopefully, some image will resonate with someone and bring a smile to their face.

Happy summer.
