The new barbecue restaurant signed a lease in Magothy Beach Plaza in Pasadena.
There could be a new place to get barbecue in Anne Arundel County by the end of the summer. The BBQ Joint recently signed a lease for space at Magothy Beach Plaza, according to St. John Properties. The restaurant's concept was founded by Andrew Evans, who was the chef-owner of the Inn at Easton on Maryland’s Eastern Shore, according to a press release from St. John. Serving what is dubbed "competition-quality BBQ," Evans reportedly was a judge in barbecue competitions and spent time perfecting various barbecue recipes and slow-cooking techiques. The Anne Arundel County Farmers Market on Riva Road in Annapolis began a new season on Saturday, and drew excitement from area residents.
