monthly meetings
are sponsored by the American Cancer Society

Participants will learn and discuss, information
regarding prostate cancer, screenings, treatments, side effects and methods on how to cope with cancer. Family, friends, wives and partners are encouraged to attend the meetings. Professionals from the American Cancer Society, doctors, technicians and administrators are available at many meetings to answer your questions.

The Chesapeake Bay Man-to-Man Prostate Education
Group is lead by a local prostate cancer survivor, volunteer and patient advocate, Frank Gasiorowski. Mr. Gasiorowski is trained & certified by the American Cancer Society and he is also a volunteer at the University of Maryland, Baltimore/Washington Medical Center.

The programs, services and activities include community
education; ACS Man-to-Man Newsletter; outreach to high-risk groups, such as African-American men; collaboration with health care providers, community health care workers and Faith-based Church communities.
