Local dignitaries, Veterans, Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts will gather to raise a new flag at the Mountain Road Shopping Center and to honor veterans, active military, police and firemen in our community in recognition of Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day. Presentation of colors will include the Armed Forces Color Guard from Fort George G. Meade, U.S. Marine Corps League, Odenton Volunteer Fire Company, Boy Scouts Troop 474, and Girl Scouts of the USA Troop 189. World War II jeeps, Faces of Valor Car, fire engines, ambulance, and parade vehicles will be on display. Please attend and thank our heroes for their service.

A wonderful event. Just a few minutes to pause & recognize our freedoms and honor those who serve to protect them. This was their 10th year. More people should come out.
