Pasadena Church Sets Thanksgiving Eve Service
The National Day of Thanksgiving will be celebrated by worship beginning at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 21 at Galilee Lutheran Church, 4652 Mountain Road, Pasadena, Md.
The service will include traditional and contemporary Thanksgiving hymns; presentations on “Why I Am Thankful” by Galilee members David Pugh, Carolyn Hall and Sam Taylor; a sermon on “Guiding Our Gratitude.” and Communion.
Food items for the North County Emergency Outreach Network to distribute to the hungry will be gathered as part of the offering, which the congregation also does every week at its Sunday services.
