Dogtober Fest 2012
When/Where:
11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday at Fieldstone Animal Inn, 174 Obrecht Rd., Millersville
Details:
The event is open to the community and everything will be free of charge including refreshments, doggie play groups, nail clippings, children’s crafts, and plenty of other activities for both you and your canine friend. Costume contest at 12:30 p.m.

Greek Food & Cultural Festival
When/Where: 11 a.m. Sunday at Greek Orthodox Cathedral of the Annunciation, 24 West Preston St., Baltimore
Details:
Free admission and free parking at event that features homemade Greek food and pastries, live music, dancing, cathedral tours and more.

Pre-Parade Park-It-Here Party at St. Andrew's
When/Where: 1 p.m. Sunday at St. Andrew's Episcopal Church, 7859 Tick Neck Rd., Pasadena
Details: Park safely off the road behind the church and then take lawn chairs and blankets to the roadside to watch the parade, which steps off from Tick Neck Park at 2 p.m. The church will offer hot dogs, beverages, snacks and sweet treats, with proceeds from the sale going to its food pantry.

Caring and Sharing Thanksgiving Parade
When/Where:
2 to 4 p.m. Sunday in the area of Tick Neck and Fort Smallwood roads, Pasadena
Details: The Pasadena Business Association hosts the 17th annual parade that will include several hundred people including local businesses, civic groups, community associations, schools, churches, bands, equestrian clubs, car clubs, youth sports groups, cheerleaders, and fire companies. Colonial Players Presents Sunlight
When/Where: 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at Colonial Players Theatre, 108 East St., Annapolis
Details: This family drama explores change and the abuse of power within a tight circle of people who, despite loving each other, are rocked by the convictions of their hearts. Tickets cost $20 or $15 for seniors, students and military. Warning: This play contains adult language.
