The Maryland Live! casino will introduce 122 live table games just after midnight on April 11, and said it will construct a poker room in time to open this summer.
Gamblers will be able to interact with live dealers playing popular games including blackjack, craps, roulette and poker. The casino is expected to take away about 10 percent of its slot machines to make way for the table games.
About 4,300 slot machines will remain in place.
Maryland Live! said it will construct a two-level poker room in time for this summer, bringing an additional 50 tables.
The introduction of table games is pending regulatory approval.
The casino has been training dealers at a special free school set up at Marley Station Mall. Students will have the chance to audition for as many as 800 dealer jobs at the casino.
