Animal Control Pets of the Week: Feb. 15

Here’s a look at a few pets up for adoption at Anne Arundel County Animal Control.

The following was submitted to Patch from Robin Small, an administrator at Anne Arundel County Animal Control.

If you are interested in adopting one of the pets listed, please visit Animal Control located at 411 Maxwell Frye Rd. in Millersville.

Kelsey

Kelsey is an approximately 4-and-a-half year old female domestic medium hair.  She was found in the Brooklyn Park area early in January and so far no owners have come forward looking for her. Staff and volunteers are surprised Kelsey is still in the shelter because of her beauty and her personality. When she arrived she was shy but now you can count on finding Kelsey at the front of her cage.  If you are interested in Kelsey, please come meet her at Anne Arundel County Animal Control.

Andy

Andy is an approximately 12-year-old neutered male Hound mix. He was found in the beginning of February and his owner was notified of his arrival at the shelter. Unfortunately, though his owner has been contacted on numerous occasion, she has still not come for Andy. This senior dog still has lots of personality and is looking for a new home where he can live out his golden years. Andy has had some old age changes but still has plenty of love to give.  If you are interested in Andy, please come meet him at Anne Arundel County Animal Control.

Autumn

Autumn is an approximately 6-month-old female domestic short hair. She was surrendered to the shelter earlier in February because her previous owner had gotten her from a neighbor about four months ago and is now going away to school. She is a little shy but is quickly warming up at the shelter. If you are interested in Autumn, please come meet her at Anne Arundel County Animal Control.

Theodore

Theodore is an approximately 5-month-old male domestic short hair. He was found in the Brooklyn Park area on earlier in February. Theodore is an outgoing and playful kitten. He is looking for either his original owners or a new forever home. Theodore would add lots of fun to any home. If you are interested in Theodore, please come meet him at Anne Arundel County Animal Control.
