Animal Control Pets of the Week: Jan. 3

Here’s a look at a few cats up for adoption at Anne Arundel County Animal Control.

The following was submitted to Patch from Robin Small, an administrator at Anne Arundel County Animal Control.

If you are interested in adopting one of the pets listed, please visit Animal Control located at 411 Maxwell Frye Rd. in Millersville.

Bree

Bree is an approximately 5-year-old spayed female domestic short haired cat. She was surrendered to the shelter in early December because her family could no longer keep her due to allergies. She was shy when she first arrived at the shelter but her personality has really blossomed. She has lived in a home with other cats and done well. According to her previous owners she likes soft blankets and lots of attention. If you are interested in Bree please come meet her at Anne Arundel County Animal Control.

Dylan

Dylan is an approximately 8-year-old neutered male domestic short haired cat. He was found in the Glen Burnie area back in August and has been at the shelter since. Dylan would do best as the only cat in his new home. Though he may not enjoy the companionship of other cats he certainly loves to be around people, especially those wielding feathers on a stick. If you are interested in opening your heart and your home to this playful yet mature cat please come visit him at Anne Arundel County Animal Control.

Spinny

Spinny is an approximately 5-month-old female domestic short haired cat. She was recently surrendered to the shelter as part of a litter that her previous owner couldn't find homes for. She is litter trained and enjoys playing with toys, especially balls. She is a friendly, active, playful and affectionate juvenile. If you are interest in Spinny please stop by Anne Arundel County Animal Control and ask to meet her.

Sam

Sam is an approximately 6-and-a-half-year-old spayed female domestic short haired. She was surrendered to the shelter in November because the 1-year-old child in the home developed cat allergies. She is litter trained and appears to do well with other cats. She has lived with two young children and apparently did well with both children. According to her previous owners she "loves to be petted" and is a very gentle cat.  If you are interested in Sam please come meet her at Anne Arundel County Animal Control.
