Mila (pronounced Mee-lah) is 1 1/2 years old, black lab/pit bull mix. Pictures are attached. I am desperately looking to find her a home because no DC Metro area shelters are accepting dogs, especially not pit bulls. I recently moved to the DC area and my current living situation does not allow dogs, if I cannot find a home/foster soon she is in danger of getting put down.
Mila is mostly black with a little brindle coloring. Of course she's had all her shots and has been spayed. She's pretty much fully grown and only weighs 40 lbs.
Mila is potty trained, good at home by herself while you're at work and doesn't chew anything other than her toys. She is a beautiful, friendly and loyal dog and would be great with someone with an active lifestyle.
Any experience with dog training, pit bulls or rescue pups will be a huge plus. Mila is generally good with dogs her size or bigger. She's too energetic for little kids (may knock them over and accidently get hurt). She's not good with cats, she chases them pretty aggressively.
