Hunter's Story...

ATTENTION: Hunter has been moved to a no-kill shelter by his owner who was listing him.  Please contact Friends of Homeless Animals at www.foha.org or call 703-385-0224.

Hunter was found as a stray when he was about 9 months old. After a long unsuccessful attempt to locate his owner, Hunter stayed with us and became part of our family. We are not sure why, but he and our other dogs are no longer getting along and we have had several altercations. For the sake of Hunter and our other dogs we find ourselves having to find a new home for Hunter.

Hunter is 4 years old, 94 pounds, neutered male, shots up to date, housebroken, and crate-trained.
Sweet, loving, smart, devoted. Protective if someone comes to the door, but perfectly fine once they are invited in. Definitely an alpha-dog, needs a one-dog home.

Has no experience with young children or cats. Owner must be able to handle a large, strong dog.
