Snow in Wednesday's Forecast

A hazardous weather outlook was issued by the National Weather Service, with snow possibly in the forecast for late Wednesday afternoon.

The temperatures have taken a dip in recent days and snow is in the forecast for late afternoon and evening on Wednesday, according to the National Weather Service (NWS).

Areas of Maryland, including Anne Arundel County, could see some light snow.

According to NWS, there's a 90 percent chance rain could begin this afternoon turning into snow as early as 3 p.m.

Highs will be near 40 degrees with a wind coming from the north at 14 mph. Accumulation would be less than a half inch.

The snow is set to continue through the Wednesday evening commute, according to forecasters, slowly down around 10 p.m. The low will reach 34 degrees.

There is a slight chance of rain in the forecast for Thursday morning.
