Tickets for the annual crab feast at in Glen Burnie, benefitting the Kamryn Lambert Foundation, are now available.
The foundation is a scholarship program in 2007. Kamryn had been battling leukemia. Since her death, the Lambert family has organized many in Kamryn’s honor.
“It's that time again ... come eat crabs and make a difference,” wrote Kamryn Lambert’s grandmother, Debi Katzenberger, in an email.
The annual crab feast is being held on Aug. 24 from 7 p.m. to midnight, but tickets are on sale now. Tickets are $50 a person and include crabs, shrimp, open bar, including top shelf drinks and lots of other food.
“You'd pay [$50] for a dozen crabs and a pitcher of beer at most restaurants,” Katzenberger said. “All proceeds from ticket sales and our silent auction by LGC Sports Marketing will be used for our end-of-year programs, including our cheerleading grants and holiday drive for the patients and families of the University of MD Children's Hospital.”
Anyone interested in purchasing tickets should contact Katzenberger via email at firstname.lastname@example.org, or call 443-852-0480. Katzenberger said only 200 tickets are available, so please plan ahead.
