Skylar Marion, a Pasadena teen, was a freshman at Chesapeake High School. Authorities said he was killed by a 1997-2002 Ford Expedition on the 4500 block of Mountain Road—the same block as Marion's home.
The Expedition also struck another teen who was also hospitalized after the incident. The vehicle then continued westbound on Mountain Road, police said.
This week, Metro Crime Stoppers announced that the total reward has been raised for the arrest and conviction of the responsible parties to a total of $10,000—of which $2,000 would come from Metro Crime Stoppers, and $8,000 from family and friends of the victim.
