Anne Arundel County Police are warning local residents that the 17th Annual Pasadena Business Association “Caring and Sharing” Parade held 2 p.m. on Sunday will cause traffic delays.

According to a release, the parade will run from 2 to 4 p.m. in the area of Tick Neck Road and Fort Smallwood Road and will include several hundred people including fire apparatus, walkers and floats.

Here is the course the parade will take so you can plan ahead:

  • The parade will begin at 2 p.m. at the Tick Neck Road Park located near the intersection of Tick Neck Road and Fort Smallwood Road.
  • The parade will continue south along Tick Neck Road to the intersection of Mountain Road.
  • From there, a right turn will be made onto westbound Mountain Road to the intersection of East Shore Road, where the parade will make a right turn north.
  • The parade will then turn left onto 218th Street to the intersection of Outing Avenue, turn left on southbound Outing Avenue and conclude at George Fox Middle School

Police said they will be conducting traffic control at intersections along the above route. However, the public can expect some traffic delays and limited access to residential and commercial areas during this annual event.
