Family of 5 Displaced by Pasadena Fire

Firefighters responded to the blaze on Beach Avenue shortly after 7 p.m. Tuesday morning.

A family of five has been displaced following a fire in a two-story house in Pasadena Tuesday morning.

Batallion Chief Steve Thompson of the Anne Arundel County Fire Department said units responded at about 7:10 a.m. to the fire at the 300 block of Beach Avenue. Firefighters arrived to find smoke showing from the second floor of the home, and they immediately went inside to battle the flames. It took about one hour for 30 firefighters to get the flames under control.

Three adults and two children were displaced by the fire but unhurt.

Firefighters are still working to determine the cause of the fire, and a damage estimate was not immediately available.
