A man told police he was shot Saturday afternoon in Pasadena as he was walking from his car to an apartment building.
According to Anne Arundel County police, officers from the northern district responded to the 7800 block of Levy Court in Pasadena for a report of a shooting at about 3 p.m. Saturday.
Police spoke with the man who was suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to the abdomen. The man told police he was walking from his car when he saw five men standing on a corner on Levy Court.
The man said he heard several gunshots and the last shot struck him, according to the press release. The man reportedly ran to a friend’s apartment to call the police, and he was taken to the Maryland Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore in stable condition.
Police said several officers and a K-9 unit canvassed the area, but were unable to locate the suspects.
