Anne Arundel County police arrested a registered sex offender after he was seen walking into a wooded area with a 13-year-old boy, according to a police report.
Police arrested Ray Roland Porter, 78, of Brooklyn Park on Saturday in Brooklyn Park. He has been charged with two counts of third-degree sex offense, two counts of fourth-degree sex offense and two counts of second degree assault, according to police.
Police said a community resident spotted Porter walking into a wooded area with a 13-year-old boy. A resident then went into the woods and brought the child back to their home until police arrived. The victim was then reunited with his family.
Following interviews, detectives determined the suspect had driven the victim to another location and touched him inappropriately on two prior occasions.
