Anne Arundel County police arrested three teenagers and charged them in connection with at least four burglaries, after finding the teens during a reported burglary-in-progress Monday afternoon.
Officers responded to the 7700 block of Suitt Drive in Pasadena at about 1:15 p.m. and determined the burglars had left the scene.
As officers investigated, another call for a burglary-in-progress was reported less than a mile away in the area of Colony and Fort Smallwood roads. This time, officers found three teens at the scene.
Officers arrested Michael Ryan Deshawn-Patrick, 18, of Annapolis, and two juveniles whose names weren't released: a 16-year-old girl from Crofton and a 15-year-old boy from Pasadena.
Investigators determined the trio was involved in at least four burglaries, and are working to determine any further involvement in other incidents.
Online court documents show Deshawn-Patrick was charged with multiple counts of burglary, destruction of property and theft. He also has active cases filed in April, for charges of possessing drug paraphernalia with intent to distribute.
