Police Charge Baltimore Man in Pasadena Stabbing

Police said a person was stabbed in the 700 block of Duvall Highway Monday morning.

Anne Arundel County police arrested and charged a Baltimore man in connection with a Pasadena stabbing that occurred Monday morning at a home on Duvall Highway, according to a news release.

Raymond Gene Adkins, 30, of the 600 block of Ponca St. in Baltimore, was arrested and charged with attempted murder, attempted murder with a deadly weapon, and first- and second-degree assault, according to the news release.

On Monday at 1:05 a.m., police said they responded to the 700 block of Duvall Highway for the report of a stabbing. Upon arrival, they said they found the victim sitting on the front porch of the home suffering from two stab wounds to his torso. He was treated by paramedics.

Police said they entered the home and located Adkins in the bathroom washing his hands. According to police, a folding knife with blood on it was allegedly lying on the sink, in close proximity to the suspect.

Adkins was arrested and charged, and the victim was transported to the Maryland Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore and treated for non-life threatening injuries.
