Sooo sad to read this...Jessica was a student at North County when I worked there...I can remember her popping in the health room a few times a week just to say hi, such a sweet girl taken away way too soon...my heart goes out to her family and friends.

Your death touches me deeply & way too close to home as my daughter personally knew you when she worked at North County in the Health Room. This is very sad to hear. I believe that I used to see Jessica all the time walking with a lady who I guessed was her mother. I hope that those responsible suffer unmercifully if not in this life, then the next.

Working with Missing Persons daily,I believe time is crucial when someone goes missing.Jessica was a young woman who trusted everyone and I do not understand why the public did not know she was missing until two months or so,that she was gone.Maybe if an alert had gone right out people could have been watching out for her.This happens all the time in other cases and sadly the person is found deceased.If a person is known not to be stay away for so long,usually something is wrong and the family knows this and why is it not out there right away?The public needs to know as we care and want to find them.I am not blaming anyone and I know the police have alot to handle but I know I did not hear about her missing until I saw it on Patch.I pray for her family and this is so close to my home.There is a killer among us and need to be found and taken off our streets so our young women will be safe.There are so many predators out here and many are released and back on our streets.Is this a random act orsomeone who knew her.I hope it is not a serial killer.There has been other murders in our area that have never been solved.Could it be them,whoever it is they are dangerous.There are other missing in our area also and have never been found.I pray for Justice for Jessica and her family and send my prayers.

I agree. I remember seeing Jessica on Maryland Missing Person prior to the discovery of her body. However I have so many questions relating to her family lack of well. Being for her. Sure she was technically an "adult" but she was vulnerable with the mindest of a child so why was it permissable for her to leave for multiple days at a time with no phone when she has a child at home?? Let alone hang out with men three times her age from her community and numerous drug addicts? It almost saddens me more that her death may have been prevented. But I hope her killer is caught soon.

Dear Crime Solver I think you should have kept that comment to yourself, that family is going through a lot right now. Unless you have been in that situation with a special needs child you should not judge, it's not as easy as you think espacially when they are over 18. I can relate I take care of three kids with some type of problem and two are over 18. To the family I am sorry for your loss, stay strong and united and take special care of Jessica's baby because she left you an angel. Keep fighting for justice for Jessica, don't let the investigation go into the cold case file. God bless you all and take care of each other.
