Police Seek Information on Sun Trust Bank Robbery

The bank located inside the Safeway on Mountain Road was robbed Wednesday evening.

Police are seeking information in the Sun Trust Bank robbery that occurred Wednesday evening. The bank is located inside the on Mountain Road.

According to a release from the Anne Arundel County Police Department, police responded to the 4200 block of Mountain Road Wednesday at 6:45 p.m. for a holdup alarm. When they arrived, police spoke to the bank teller who said a man approached the counter and handed over a note demanding money. The teller complied and the man subsequently fled the store with an undisclosed amount of money.

Several officers, a K-9 unit and the aviation unit searched the area, but were unable to locate the man.

According to police, the suspect is described as white man in his early 20s with short, brown hair and a mustache. He was wearing a green “floppy” style hat and sunglasses.

This idiot obviously knows when safeway isn't too busy (which is usally always) But didn't bother to hide his face from the cameras, only his eyes are hidden??? As soon as the right person sees this article it's off to jail. JERK!!!!
