Police: Thief Takes Money, Boots from Man in Freetown

The incident was reported Sunday night in the area of New Freetown and Freetown roads.

Police are searching for a man who they said stole money and a man's boots in the Freetown area on Sunday night.

According to Anne Arundel County police, officers responded to the area of New Freetown and Freetown roads at 8:09 p.m. on Sunday night for a reported robbery. Police spoke with a man who said he was walking in the area when he was approached by another man who indicated he had a gun.

The man ordered the victim to the ground and demanded his money and boots. Police said the victim handed over an undisclosed amount of money.

Several officers, a K-9 unit and the aviation unit searched the area, but were unable to locate the man.
