I brought my car in for a loud noise coming from the front. They charged me almost a thousand dollars for three hours of work and didn’t even fix the problem. They said that the problem was on the other side and wanted more money to fix it. When I called to express that I wasn’t satisfied they got offensive (not defensive) and hung up on me. There are plenty of better places around MD that will respect you.

Keith is the most honest salesmen I' ve ever met. My entire family now gets their tires or mechanical work done by him and his group because we've had such a great experience there. No BS - truth in what you actually need and fast, cost-relative service. Can't say one thing negative

We have never been anything but extremely satisfied when going to Baxter's Tire and Auto. We've been customers for many years. Not only do we purchase our tires there, we go there for all of our other service needs, also. From an oil change to a/c problems, Baxter's can do it all! They have the best prices in town, excellent turn around time and extremely pleasant and knowledgeable staff! I recommend Baxter's Tire and Auto to all my family and friends and to you, too!

Baxter Tire and Auto took five days to run a basic computer diagnostic, failed to do any of the follow-up work the error code suggested, managed to drain my battery in the the process, charged me out the wazoo for the experience, and held my car hostage until I forked over.

In today's world, customer service is the key ingredient to the success of your business. It's a shame that more people don't adhere to the proper procedures to make the customer happy.
I have gone to Baxter Tire and Auto 5 separate times. I even told friends and family to go there to support the local economy and keep the money out of these huge conglomerate franchises.
I understand that in certain circumstances trial and error is going to get the job done. Parts aren't readily available, you run into hiccups, I get that, but to have someone's vehicle for 2 days is absurd. The small fix that I needed done wasn't on the priority list for someone who was without a car for 2 days. It wasn't a major problem with the operation of the vehicle, it was something that just triggered the check engine light deeming me unable to get an emmissions test.
When the problem was told to me, they weren't apologetic that you had to take a day off of work, then on day 2, rearrange your whole schedule to try to find another car you could use. It was as if it was a "tough luck" attitude.
On top of this fiasco, when driving home after day two my whole backside was soaking wet as someone left the window open so mother nature could wash out the inside of the car. To my dismay, 2 weeks after I brought the car back in to get the orignal issue fixed, all was forgotten on their word to make things right and get the car detailed inside and out due to their little mental error.
It's dissappointing.
