As a newcomer to the Pasadena area, I was surprised and thrilled to find an excellent, award-winning school committed to hands-on learning with a focus on environmental science as well as the development of advanced language art skills. The 5th graders here are skilled in writing a good three paragraph essay as well as how to farm oysters, cultlivate a green roof, and capture rain water so it doesn't flow unfiltered into the Bay. Happy learners!
