My husband and I met several times with different park emplyees regarding our Chesapeake Room hall rental for our wedding April 24, 2010. We were assured the dirty room we were seeing that winter, would be cleaned beforehand. We arrived that morning to set up and it was just as we had seen it before--spiderwebs in the windows, dirty floors and leaves still on the floor. My wedding started an hour late after locating an employee to help clean and several of my guests helping me mop the floor and clean. Not a way to start your wedding day! I asked for some refund as compensation and was refused. NOONE should have to clean a room beforehand after paying $660 to rent it for a few hours. Reconsider if you are thinking of renting this hall.
