County Announces Holiday Schedule for Senior Centers

Anne Arundel County announced the holiday schedule on Tuesday for area senior centers: They will close Christmas Eve through New Year’s Day, and non-senior center nutrition sites will remain open Dec. 24, 26-28, and 31. Attendance and meal participation the week between Christmas and New Year’s are historically low at the senior centers. Closing these centers will save on transportation and utility costs.
