Sport Clips, located at 4139 Mountain Rd., was voted the best place for a kid’s haircut in the Pasadena area. Sports Clips claims “it’s good to be a guy,” and targets their haircuts towards men. If you’re looking to get a good workout in before the summer months begin, Patch readers have found the best place in town to tone-up. Patch asked you, and you decided that Transformations Fitness for Women on Ritchie Highway is the best place in town for a workout. According to its website, Transformations provides motivating classes and workouts for women of all ages and fitness levels. Most gym-goers have a love-hate relationship with the building full of exercise equipment. As an avid exerciser myself, I know that when the alarm goes off at 6:30 a.m. I despise the gym with everything I have. However, when I am in the groove running on the treadmill with my iPod going, the gym becomes tolerable. And finally, when I am headed back home, satisfied with my workout, the gym is pretty awesome. I've gotten my hair cut here between 8-10 times. I've had probably 5 or 6 different people cut my hair. Not once have I had a good hair cut. I always go home, look in he mirror, and say what were they thinking.
