Police Search for Knife-Wielding Robbers in Pasadena

A man was robbed at knifepoint on Mountain Road on Tuesday, police said.

Anne Arundel County police are searching for two men involved in a robbery at knifepoint on Tuesday night. Just before midnight on Tuesday, Anne Arundel County police arrived at the 3000 block of Mountain Road for a reported armed robbery. A male victim said he was approached by two men armed with knives on Mountain Road. One suspect demanded money, and the victim complied, turning over an undisclosed amount before the suspects fled toward Gladnor Road, according to police. Officers searched the area, but were unable to locate the suspects. The victim was not injured during the robbery. Police Arrest 6 in Pasadena Drug Bust

The suspects were charged with a laundry list of drug charges, including intent to distribute marijuana.

Police arrested six suspects, including two teens, during a search and seizure at a home on Tyndswall Place in Pasadena On Thursday, at 6:32 p.m., members of the Anne Arundel County Police Department's eastern Tactical Narcotics Team and Tactical Patrol Unit executed a search and seizure warrant that targeted a series of drug violations at a home in the 8300 block of Tyndswall Place in Pasadena Detectives seized 1.3 ounces of suspected marijuana with an estimated street value of $735, a small quantity of suspected prescription medication, related drug paraphernalia, over $730 in currency and a .20 gauge shotgun. Police Arrest Teen in Pasadena on Gun, Drug Charges

Police say the suspect fled when approached and attempted to hide the gun in bushes.

A Baltimore teen who police found with crack cocaine and a fully loaded .357 Magnum revolver in Pasadena will be charged as an adult, according to Anne Arundel County police. According to a press release, police responded at 6 p.m. Tuesday to the Freetown area in reference to complaints of drug activity. Detectives then observed what they suspected was drug activity in the area of Darrell Henry Court. Police said the teen, who appeared armed, ignored orders to drop the gun and immediately fled on foot. During the pursuit, detectives reportedly saw the teen throw the gun under a bush on Levy Court. Cops Nab Copper Thief Tied to School, Park Vandalism

Police say three were involved in a string of copper wire thefts across Anne Arundel County.

Police have made an arrest in a string of copper wire thefts that caused $147,000 in damage to local schools and parks. Michael Allen Dunlop, 27, of the 1900 block of Poplar Ridge Road in Pasadena, was charged with theft of under $10,000, burglary and destruction of property. A second suspect, Dawn Marie Schofield, 41, of the 12400 block of Keynote Lane in Bowie, has been issued a criminal summons charging her with theft of under $10,000 and destruction of property. A third suspect died in November, according to a statement from Anne Arundel County police. Suspects Use Stun Gun in Pasadena Home Invasion

Suspects use stun gun on homeowner in order to make entry, according to police.

Police are searching for two suspects involved in a Pasadena assault who used a stun gun during a home invasion, according to a release. On Tuesday at 7:17 p.m., officers arrived at the 7800 block of Coutros Court in the Freetown Community of Pasadena for a report of an assault. A 37-year-old male told police that two suspects demanded his keys outside his residence. When he attempted to push his way past them, one of the suspects used a stun gun on him, causing the man to fall to the ground. The victim then grabbed his son and fled the scene on foot as the suspects entered his home, according to the release. When police arrived, they were unable to find the suspects. Search for Burglar Disrupts Pasadena School Dismissal

A police manhunt for a suspect in an attempted burglary kept students at Lake Shore Elementary inside during the school's dismissal Thursday. Anne Arundel County police said they were were searching for a suspect in the 8400 block of Alvin Road in Pasadena, where a caller had indicated a man was seen trying to break into a neighbor’s home, according to a police statement. Officers swarmed the area in an attempt to set up a perimeter and locate the suspect. Administrators at Lake Shore Elementary, located about a half-mile from the original incident, elected to keep students inside the building, which disrupted normal dismissal, police said.  Students began being dismissed six minutes after their normal schedule. Anne Arundel County police arrested two men Tuesday in Pasadena on charges of marijuana and LSD possession with intent to distribute, according to a police statement.  Police said officers observed a vehicle parked at a Shell gas station in the 3900 block of Mountain Road in Pasadena at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. According to police, detectives observed what appeared to be marijuana inside the vehicle and detected "a very strong odor of marijuana" coming from the vehicle. Officers searched the vehicle and found 114 grams of marijuana, Lysergic Acid Diethylamide (LSD), related paraphernalia and $1,592 in cash, according to police. Pasadena Wreck Sends Two to Hospital

The wreck on Duvall Highway trapped two victims.

Two people were trapped after a two-vehicle automobile wreck on Friday in Pasadena. Anne Arundel County firefighters responded to the 1100 block of Duvall Highway in Pasadena at about 5:30 p.m. Friday to the report of a two-vehicle accident. A crew was able to extricate the two victims—a 56-year-old man, who was transported with serious but not life-threatening injuries to Maryland Shock Trauma; and a second victim, unknown age, was transported to Baltimore Washington Medical Center in Glen Burnie with minor injuries, according to Battalion Chief Matthew Tobia.
