Victim Grabs Gun From Would-Be Robber in Maryland City

The incident occurred early Tuesday morning at Maryland City Plaza.

Authorities say a man was able to wrestle away a gun from a would-be armed robber Tuesday morning at Maryland City Plaza. At approximately 1:47 a.m. Tuesday, Anne Arundel County police responded to the 3400 block of Laurel Fort Meade Road for a report of an attempted armed robbery. According to police, a 22-year-old male victim at the scene told officers that he and his friends had been sitting in the rear parking lot of the plaza when an unknown man approached them. The suspect allegedly pointed a handgun at the victim and demanded money. But when the assailant became distracted, the victim was able to grab the man's gun, police said. Men Reportedly Attempt Robbery, Fight Each Other

Police say a Pasadena man and three others fought with each other in the parking lot after they were locked out of the Glen Burnie Royal Farms store by the clerks they were attempting to rob.

A Pasadena man faces multiple charges after an incident in Glen Burnie early on Monday morning. Four men, who police said were attempting to rob a Royal Farms in Glen Burnie, began fighting in the parking lot after the clerks locked one of the men out of the store, according to a police press release. Police charged the following men with robbery, theft under $1,000, second-degree assault, disorderly conduct and destruction of property: According to the release, officers responded at 3:48 a.m. Monday to the Royal Farms store located at 200 Oak Manor Drive in Glen Burnie for a reported fight. Police Searching for Suspect in Attempted Rite Aid Robbery

A man attempted to rob the Rite Aid on Fort Smallwood Road Tuesday afternoon, according to police.

Police are searching for a man who they say attempted to rob the Rite Aid pharmacy on Fort Smallwood Road Tuesday afternoon, according to a news release from the Anne Arundel County Police Department. Police said that at 2:11 p.m. Tuesday, a male suspect walked into the Pasadena Rite Aid and showed a note, saying he was armed with a gun and demanding prescription drugs from the pharmacist. The suspect did not display a weapon and fled the scene without any stolen property, police said. The suspect was described as a white male, approximately 45-years-old with a short mustache and beard and a heavy build, according to the news release. Two Men Face Charges in Royal Farms Robbery

Two men were arrested and charged after robbing the Royal Farms Store on Mountain Road, according to police.

Police arrested two men in the robbery of the Royal Farms on Mountain Road back on May 20, according to an Anne Arundel County Police press release. According to the release, Francisco Javier Calderon, 18, of no fixed address and Melvin Humberto Amador, 29, of no fixed address were both charged with armed robbery, robbery, assault, theft, use of a handgun in the commission of a felony and driving without a license. Police said, on May 20 at 11:50 p.m. they responded to the Royal Farms Store on the 4500 block of Mountain Road in Pasadena for a report of an armed robbery. Pizza Delivery Driver Robbed on Liberty Circle

Police are still searching for suspects in the robbery.

Three suspects robbed a pizza delivery driver near Liberty Circle and Whitaker Road in Pasadena, according to a press release from an Anne Arundel County police spokesman. According to the release, around 8:20 p.m. Monday police responded to the Liberty Circle, Whitaker Road area where they spoke with a 32-year-old man. The victim said he was delivering pizzas in the 7900 block of Liberty Circle when three male subjects on bikes approached him. One of the male suspects pushed the victim into his open vehicle door while the other two stole food. All three suspects fled on their bikes eastbound on Liberty Circle. Police Seek Suspects in Texas Roadhouse Robbery

A man armed with a knife demanded money from an employee at the restaurant early on Monday morning and fled with another man, according to police.

Anne Arundel County Police seek two men in connection with a reported robbery at Texas Roadhouse on Mountain Road Monday morning. The robbery was reported at approximately 8:58 a.m. Monday, according to a police news release. An employee at the restaurant told officers that he was opening the business when two men appeared and one, who was armed with a knife, demanded money. The employee reportedly complied and handed over an undisclosed amount of cash. Both suspects fled and the employee contacted the police. Police said a lookout was broadcast to all districts and officers canvassed the area but were unable to locate the suspects. One Arrested in Riviera Beach Robbery

An Orchard Beach man was arrested after a robbery at a CVS Pharmacy on Fort Smallwood Road, according to Anne Arundel County Police.

An Orchard Beach man was arrested after allegedly robbing a female victim at a CVS Pharmacy, according to a press release from Anne Arundel County Police The robbery happened in the 8400 block of Fort Smallwood Road in Riviera Beach on the evening of November 3. According to the police release, Zachary Paul Fremen, 20, was arrested after grabbing the victim's purse, assaulting her and fleeing the area. Witnesses who observed the incident chased Fremen down and detained him until police arrived. Fremen was charged with robbery, assault and related offenses.
