Greene Turtle Offering Fantasy Football Parties

Host your draft at the Greene Turtle and you can get discounts on beer and food.

I love football season. I love the Ravens. I love watching Red Zone. I love reading about football throughout the entire season. I love it all. While I love all of those things, what is perhaps one of my favorite things about football season is beating my very sport-savvy boyfriend in fantasy football two years in a row. My boyfriend Matt is like a walking encyclopedia for players and teams. He knows things about players I have never even heard of. And while I am pretty well-versed in football myself, I can’t top him. But I beat him in fantasy football…twice. So it is with great joy that I share with you that the Greene Turtle in Pasadena is getting in on the fantasy action by offering draft parties. “What we are doing is we are hosting …

A Pasadena restaurant and others in the greater Baltimore area feature Old Bay-themed cuisine through Saturday.

The menus run through Saturday, June 30. Other participating restaurants include Miss Shirley's and The Greene Turtle in Annapolis, along with a few other restaurants in Edgewater and Gambrills. Look at the menus to find out where you can have Old Bay crab meatballs, Old Bay-by back ribs and Old Bay fish and chips. For a list of other participating restaurants and their …

Greene Turtle To Host Torrey Smith

The former Terp, now wide receiver for the Baltimore Ravens, will be signing autographs at the Greene Turtle in Pasadena.

As a University of Maryland graduate and passionate football fan, I was elated when the Baltimore Ravens drafted wide receiver Torrey Smith in last year’s NFL draft. When Smith was drafted, I was watching on TV from the bar at Outback Steakhouse in Bel Air with my parents. When the Ravens pick came up, and I heard them say Torrey Smith’s name, I screamed in the crowded bar and began clapping and high-fiving strangers. I was so excited my former schoolmate was coming to Baltimore. And now Smith is coming to Pasadena. On April 25 at 7 p.m., Smith will be at the Greene Turtle on Magothy Beach Road to sign autographs for fans. Greene Turtle manager Edward Funkhouser said those who wish to have Smith’s autograph will need to purchase a $35 …
